Minting an NFT on Stellar costs about 3 XLM and transfering the NFT on Stellar costs 0.00001 XLM .

Litemint is a decentralized marketplace that uses Stellar to process all blockchain-based transactions. Stellar is an open network for storing and moving money. Stellar is specifically designed to power payments of any size with low, flat fees and fast transactions.

For convenience we recommend installing the Freighter Wallet browser extension, it is like Metamask but for Stellar users!

If you prefer a wallet with advanced features such as SDEX access, we recommend using our bespoke Litemint Stellar wallet available on mobile, desktop and web app. For advanced users we also recommend using Stellarport.io.

For now we support MP4, JPEG, PNG, GIF, MP3 and SVG. This list will be extended to new formats based on demand and use cases.

Max file size is currently 100 MB. This may be extended to cover the needs of artists with MP4 and video formats.

There is no limit besides the max subentries a single Stellar account can have (1000), however you can create any number of wallets to bypass such limits.

Not yet, but we are working on it! We are exploring solutions with Turing Signing Servers for implementing advanced use cases such as royalties with smart contracts on Stellar.

Litemint is 100% noncustodial (i.e. you and only you hold and control your items). So your NFTs are always minted directly on your Stellar wallet (view your collectibles here) and will remain there till a change of ownership / sale.

We use the Stellar blockchain for all transactions. Stellar provides a decentralized exchange natively (SDEX) so when you set an item for sale, you create an offer on the SDEX and the transfer happens automatically, peer-to-peer whenever it gets executed. You receive the payment directly as well in your chosen currency, there is no counterparty involved.

It is never possible to fully delete an NFT, the purpose of NFT is to be immutable and permanent so transactions are forever recorded on the Ledger. It is however possible to burn your NFT by sending it back to the issuer account. When the supply of an asset is zero, the Litemint marketplace will not show the asset anymore.

 Litemint Decentralized Marketplace Auctions are time limited auctions tied to a specific market (e.g. XLM, USDC...), no escrow needed. Participants are bound by a smart contract implemented as a pre-authorized transaction that is automatically executed on the Stellar Network with settlement on the Decentralized exchange at the end of the auction period.

The contract is public and guarantees that auction bids cannot be filled before the auction has expired and that the best price is at or above the specified reserve.

If you own an NFT with a supply of one, issued by a verified account, hosted on *.litemint.store, you can start an auction on Litemint. Regular SDEX bidding and selling are still allowed during an auction.

Head over to your asset page, make sure you are connected with the NFT owner wallet. Click on the button next to the supply badge. This feature is available for any asset issued by verified accounts on Litemint (must have a supply of 1).
